life is a maze of twists and turns, a roller coaster of ups and down, a messy spill, an empty pot at the end of the rainbow. think of the one who raised you, and think of the one who raised them... think of the one before and go back a little more. five hundred years back my tenth great grandmother sat on the banks of a river on the other side of the country. her blood runs through me.
you are warm. you were born warm. you were warm inside the womb. your heart is warm. we are all warm.
there is fire inside us. it heats us. inside the earth there is fire. things filled with fire. nothing can put your fire out. nothing. maybe the flame seems extinguished, but its an ember and it will grow again. give it time. give it as long as it takes.
and you whose fire is large and bright and blazing, don’t hide it. Be bright, be light.
