Team Cortex interacting with Velo and his Champions
It was a gift from the heart.
On a side note, I am very sorry.
Team Bandicoot interacting with Velo and his Champions
I never properly finished this because I ultimately decided to change the way I draw Geary, Norm, Krunk, and Velo later on, but I have had this picture in the works since... oh, I dunno, at least early march? maybe february? It’s not actually done, as indicated by the lack of shading on Geary (among other things), but I don’t think I will finish it. I didn’t want it to go to waste though, so here it is!
I made two versions as a play on Velo’s color-changing hair, so that’s why he seems to stay almost the same between both pictures.
THE HEXAFUSION IS COMPLETE!
... I do not have names for any of the fusions you see here, but I can provide a bit of detail!
Krunk and Norm’s fusion is a musketeer!... of sorts. His form is constantly dissipating (thanks to Norm), but this allows him to be very stealthy, as he can transform into blue liquid and sneak up on his foes! Despite his unstable appearance he is very agile, easily able to dodge any attack and maneuver his way around any obstacle. He’s also capable of generating (impossibly) spikey bubbles, which really sting!
Velo and Krunk fuse together to create a very beastly fella. His temper is almost as fiery as his hair, so it’s best not to get on his bad side! He seems to have a permanent scowl on his face, but that’s alright because his four arms tend to convey more expression than his face does. He has a very loud voice, which captivates any audience listening to him.
Norm and Velo fuse together to become somewhat of a biker type guy, their fusion being more inclined to race than the other four. The second pair of eyes on his face have greatly improved vision, and can scan things and analyze them in a short amount of time.
The center fusion, made up of all 3 components, retains all the abilities of the characters that make him up, though they all balance each other out and aren’t quite as specialized as the other three fusions. He makes up for this with sheer power, being able to manipulate light and water with his modified staff. He also has a second, fully functional mouth on his stomach, though it’s mostly for show; he tends to toss stuff into it just to freak people out.
With all this being said... please don’t ask me to do this meme ever again, I am very tired.
The winner of the Terra Championship is Krunk!
His victory is what led him to being Velo’s first champion, and it was so unexpected! I like to think he raced against Oxide on Terra, and won, much to Oxide’s embarrassment.
Ft Leeke, Lyssa, Snazzy, and an alternate design for Krunk! I felt like he deserved one.
Planet Terra (from Crash Bandicoot) alien species guide?
A whole sheet of Terra-Sapiens! I wrote most of the important info on the actual picture, but I do have a few more details about them that I couldn’t fit onto the canvas.
Krunk and Snazzy’s tribe is rooted in the same location as the track, Tiny Temple. Leeke’s is closer to Jungle Boogie, though it’s not directly located there. Leeke lives close enough to the others to know who they are, and sees Snazzy on an almost daily basis (they’re friends, after all), but doesn’t tend to hang around in the open, or venture close to the temple itself. It should be noted that even though there are populations on Inferno Island, Terra-Sapiens are not known for swimming.
Most Terra Sapiens, despite living a mostly grounded lifestyle, are very adept at climbing trees. Like many primates on earth, they are able to grip branches with their tails and their feet, not just their hands.
Some Terra-Sapiens are capable of learning to use magic, much like Leeke. It’s a bit of an art form, but it’s not for everyone. Leeke obviously knows how to use it, but Krunk and Snazzy do not.
Being heavier-set is seen as attractive in Terra-Sapien society, as it indicates an abundance of resources, and good health. Not to mention, strength!
… Alright, I think that’s all I got for now. But feel free to ask me more! I’m glad you’re interested in my headcanons!
Hexafusion idea: Krunk, Big Norm and Fake Velo (from Crash Bandicoot). ✨
Soon...
