This is very much a WIP, and has a LONG way to go, but I’ve been working on this recently and it lines up perfectly with the Communication prompt.
In Fractured Frequency, a significant aspect of the story revolves around Knuckles’ library, and in particular, an ancient codex compiled by his ancestors—a trove of cultural knowledge (predating Tikal’s era, and the clan’s collapse), called the Echidnovian. In the most recent chapter, Knuckles reads the opening passage from the section of writings on Chaos Energy, the Emeralds, and their mysteries as his ancestors understood them.
When it’s done, THIS piece is meant to be the page that Knuckles read in Ch 12. Here is the passage where he describes the Codex and reads this passage:

Part of this prop within the story has required a lot of thought about Knuckles’ native language. How it is written, how it is carved, or painted, and certainly how it is translated. This is the culmination a collection of research, inspiration, and just a lot of personal imagination on what it looks like. I’ve always wanted to create some of the key pages of the book. In doing so, to avoid having a bunch of scribble scratch for the written text, I realized I actually have to CREATE some of it. So I guess along side this epic of a story I’m writing, I’ve started constructing a something of writing system as well.
