Alright so NORMALLY... Steel cut oats take 45 minutes on the stovetop. They're delicious and good after training. So that's 45 minutes and you have to wash a pot and a lid. I was hoping to save time using the Artoo unit (pressure cooker, don't google that, it's a nickname), BUT it turns out I had to toast the oats first for 20 minutes. So now I'm in for 20 plus washing the Pyrex glass AND the pressure cooker. Hmmmmm. After toasting, it was ONLY 6 minutes to cook them and they were tasty. So, net result, the pot and lid vs the pressure cooker cancel each other out. 19 minute savings minus the time to wash the Pyrex means I'll likely use this method every time. PLUS, you can pre-toast the oats in bulk which would make the whole thing just 6 minutes. Mark that a win. #eatingforabs #nutrition #kitchenlife #CoachBe #e4a
