✨THE VALUE OF COACHING. ➡️As we celebrate the International Coaching Week (ICW) and the power and impact of professional coaching, I am thankful to be a coach who has benefitted from having coaches over the years. I used to be one of those people who felt the coaching gig was a “scam”. I was like why am I paying someone to help me and most times they share what I already know or just ask me loads of questions that I need to go and find the answers to by myself. It also didn’t help that I believed I knew all I needed to know to be successful so what do I need a coach for. Now, I can tell you, without a shadow of doubt I was not only wrong but foolish. With the help of the right coaches in my personal and professional life, I have been able to think and do things differently. The first thing that changed was my mindset. After that, the floodgates were opened for me to learn, unlearn and relearn in the all the areas I needed help in. 📌I have hired & paid for a Fitness Coach, Mindset Coach, Productivity Coach, Personal Branding Coach, Business Coach, Money Coach, Spiritual Coach, Etiquette Coach, Personal Mastery Coach, Personality Coach, Emotional Intelligence Coach, Purpose Coach, Creativity & Innovation Coach and Communications Coach. As you can see, the list is long and it will get longer because I always seek to improve certain areas of my life and the best way to do that is to hire a coach that can help me. 💜One of my favourite coaches who happens to be my mentor is Dr Sam Ikoku @dr_samikoku. I attended his recent seminar on Personal Mastery and Leadership Hacks and it made me appreciate the great value great coaches bring to the table always. 📣I became a certified coach in 2017 because I wanted to help people transform their lives inside and out. It brings me great joy when I see my clients become more confident, more articulate and purposeful about their lives and their work. Looking great while doing it too because I am an Image Consultant/Beauty Expert, so I have to style them up too 🤩.
