Coal-Fired Power Plant

This is the Indiana University power plant in Bloomington, as it looked in 1980. This plant is utilized for heat, not electricity, which the school purchases from an outside company. Using street view today shows that the plant still exists, and looks cleaner, but the fuel source is unclear.

I had read that the university powers-that-be (in 2013) were reluctant to switch to gas due to cost. Reading an article (from 2017) the fuel source for the plant was not mentioned at all, leading me to believe that it's still coal.
