On Saturday I joined Tripoli Central California's rocket launch event in a farm field at Helm, near Fresno, California. After enjoying a steak dinner at the famous Harris Ranch we passed the California Aqueduct just before sunset. This water infrastructure is massive, with over 400 miles (640 km) of canals, tunnels, and pipelines. It's vital to California's agriculture, collecting water at the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and distributing it to farm lands all over the central valley of California.
