Echoes Beneath the Lonely Tower By Jeff Stanford, 2026 Buy prints of this image at: https://fineartamerica.com/featured/echoes-beneath-the-lonely-tower-jeff-stanford.html or more of my images at: https://jeff-stanford.pixels.com/
A lone stone tower rises from a quiet, windswept ridge, keeping secrets older than the path that leads to it. The way, pale and uncertain, cuts through fields of gold and shadowed blue, as if guiding wanderers toward something half-remembered, where sky and earth meet in a silence that feels almost watchful.
Faversham & the Creek North Kent by Adam Swaine Via Flickr: Faversham is a historic market town in Kent, England. It is situated on the River Swale, about 9 miles (14 km) north of Canterbury. The town has a long and rich history, dating back to Roman times. It was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, and was granted its first charter by King Edward I in 1252...Faversham was a significant port in the Middle Ages, and was a member of the Cinque Ports confederation. The town was also a centre of the gunpowder industry, and was responsible for producing much of the gunpowder used in the Napoleonic Wars.
