Hi, I'm here to ask everyone in the Pennsylvania area to boycott Conneaut Lake Park. Do not go there, do not spend your money there. Unfortunately, the new owner has demolished multiple historic landmarks.

Including burning down the 17th oldest coaster in the world "by accident".

This google review puts it better than I can. There is a lot of information about this park and coaster out there, if anyone would like to add, it would be appreciated.

I won't be engaging in controversy/arguments to this post, I was very attached to this coaster as it was the first one I had ever rode, with my father who passed away when I was 11. This is very sensitive and dear to me, respect this.

What the fucking shit I have evidence to suggest that Six Flags Chimdale may not have actually been Six Flags America as I had originally thought

Point 1: the main gate

SFA's main gates were designed to look like the White House

This is in direct contrast to what we see from Six Flags Chimdale, whose entrance looks a lot more like the Paramount Parks' legacy parks entrance queues

Point 2: the coasters

In the background of this screenshot, we can see what I originally assumed to be 3 coasters: a large yellow loop (which I had originally identified as Batwing); a winding red track, and a third orange track. Upon further inspection, the yellow coaster does not match Batwing's shape and coloration, and I now believe it to be Dominator at... Kings Dominion! Pointing to there only being 2 coasters in the background in this photo. When Dominator operated as Batman Knight Flight, its track was yellow with blueish purple supports, with all of the track except the vertical loop being repainted orange after the retheme, leading to a color split in the track:

I believe the second coaster in the photo to be Reptillian.

Point 3: Six Flags America's list of rides

Consulting Coasterpedia to view the now defunct SFA's ride list, we will find that they didn't have a traditional log flume. They had a River Rapids and Shoot the Chute, both manufactured by Hopkins:

A Shoot the Chute features a non-traditional flume layout consisting of a climb and a splashdown, leading to them being shorter than a traditional flume, such as Shenandoah Lumber Co. at Kings Dominion, which I believe to be the inspiration for the flume featured in the American Dad episode. Also, I am super pumped to see what happens with Nemesis Reborn. The original Nemesis has never dropped below the Golden Coaster's top 35 since 1998.
