need to ramble on the idea of coat guy being an actual corpse for a second because everyone says he's stinky (which idk how because this guy doesn't sweat?) but imagine he was fully just a rotting corpse. like he fucking STUNK of corpses and he smells earthy from the ground he crawled out of. oh my god this man WOULD stink but that's because he is A LIVING CORPSE.

and while we're on this topic, the clothes he's wearing being the clothes he was buried in? im fucking sobbing nobody understands.

and he desperately wants to feel human again but he just can't and slowly he finds himself falling in love with reader but he pushes them away because he's a fucking corpse??

Hi guys!! I worked on a fanart for No I’m not a human cause like weeks ago I got into the game and it’s one of my favs now, it’s pretty interesting and cool!! The character I drew is called Coatguy 🧥🥶❄️. I will try to make more fanarts of the game cause honestly it’s pretty awesome. Coatguy is one of my fav characters along with the homeowner/protagonist and Pale visitor. (I also drew coatguy in the lasso artstyle, you can see the image better on slide 2) (If you ask I haven’t played the game yet but have seen the playthroughs/gameplays but hopefully hope to have a chance to play it 🥹🙏) Anyways hope you like this fanart I made.

Lived with his disabled mother before the Catalyst.

Had a brother and sister but isn't in contact with them much.

Due to his mother's disability, he became her sole carer.

Died a virgin btw.

Suffered with a deep depression that would often be overlooked or brushed over due to his mother's own medical needs.

Really struggled having friends or relationships due to a soft resentment toward his mother.

Had to live with his mother, so he didn't have much of a social life.

Spent what little time he had learning guitar and playing it.

He usually cuts his own hair, so it's shaggy and imperfect.

Despite being her carer, he had a rocky relationship with his mother. Either he wasn't man enough or not trying to go out and find a woman.

A very closeted bisexual but he really isn't sure? He's convinced he isn't really attracted to anything.

Then again he has no time to be attracted to anyone.

He is very weird and pretty unsettling? He doesn't mean to be though, he just lacks a lot of social skills.

Decided that he had enough to being his mothers carer and decided to take his own life by overdosing on her medication.

His mother found him but due to her disability, she couldn't ring for help and ultimately died of malnourishment with him alone in their apartment.

It wasn't until his sister discovered their bodies did they finally get buried.

But they were both very decomposed.

After the catalyst, he doesn't remember much. Or know how he's alive.

But he's covered in dirt, his fingernails thick with mud - like he'd dug out.

Doesn't remember climbing out of his grave and leaving the graveyard.

Just remembers being very cold - very fucking cold.

His skin is cold to touch and he stinks like an actual rotting corpse.

A lot of his skin is degloving, ie; falling off.

He is alive but actively rotting.

Has no recollection of his life before his death but as far as he is concerned, he isn't dead and is very much alive.

Hates low ceilings but doesn't know why - though it's because his body remembers being in the coffin.

And he is very claustrophobic.

The void in his stomach creates a low, gurgling, humming noise. Though it's very quiet and you wouldn't be able to hear it unless you're close.

His name is Eugene. (though I'm sure that's canon idk.)

Very insecure of his whole general appearance, before and after death.
