Myrtle: Do you like going on airplanes?

Uh yes and no. I like the feeling of being in the air and I like looking out the window at well lit areas and wondering why everything else is so dark. But I don’t like the cramped space or the pressure.

Daffodil: What’s the most thoughtful present you’ve ever received?

Uh that’s hard. I think every gift is thoughtful. But that coffee candle you gave me for christmas was actually really thoughtful in light of the whole thinking in scent thing you mentioned to me!! (not that it wasn’t before)

1.) What got you into cosplay? I can't really remember to be honest. All I remember is the want to dress up as one of my favorite characters for Halloween and it ended up sticking with me.

2.) What was your first cosplay? Genderbent! Portgas D. Ace

3.) What was your first convention? Metrocon! One of the best convetions ever! So many good memories!

4.) Do you publicly cosplay? Yes! I love doing it and showing off my cosplay.

5.) Favorite cosplay you have? Favorite? Judal from Magi. He's always fun and I love wearing the cosplay!

6.) How long have you been cosplaying? 5 years!

7.) How many cosplays do you have? 9 at the moment and there are more on the way

8.) How do you pick your cosplays? Normally it starts out with me finding characters that I like and want to dress up as. Then I find out if there is anyone else out of my friends that want to cosplay from the show and then we plan from there together.

9.) Any dream cosplays? Thorin Oakensheild. I really want to do a cosplay as him since I really like him from the movies and the costume looks like a really cool challenge to make.

10.) Do you have any dream conventions? Comic Con! I really want to go, even if it is once!

11.) Do you have any cosplay idols? Jack and Kelly from Parle Productions. I love them so much and their cosplays are absolutely amazing! They have such skill and talent and I admire them so much! flamboyantwreck

12.) What is your favorite thing about cosplaying? Being able to bring that character to life and making the cosplay. It's a lot of fun to search for the material and work on it to slowly bring it together. Then you can dress into their clothes and bring them to life for a little while and see the world through their eyes.

13.) Anything you don’t like about cosplaying? People judging other people's cosplay. We are all here to have fun and appreciate characters and shows that we love. I hate it when someone says that someone is too big or too small for a cosplay. Fuck that bullshit. DO what makes you happy.

14.) Do many of your friends also cosplay? YES AND ITS WONDERFUL FUN

15.) Have you ever entered a cosplay contest? No I haven't. My costumes still need a little bit of work before I enter one.

16.) Have you ever won a cosplay contest? NO

17.) Do you prefer to make or buy your cosplays? Both. I think it is a lot of fun to transform things that you already have into pieces of a cosplay or as well as making the costume. I will admit to buying some of the pieces sometimes though when I can't do it myself.

18.) Ever had your picture taken? Yes! Plenty of times!

19.) Have you ever had anyone freak out over a cosplay of yours? Yes! A coupe of times actually. A couple freaked out when my girlfriend and I were cosplaying Connor and Murphy from Boondock Saints at Metrocon. It was honestly such a cool feeling thought.

20.) Any cosplays in progress? Two at the moment. I am finishing the touch to my Judal costume and making the jewelry and wand with his pants, and my other one will be formal Levi from SNK.

How long (months, years?): Five Years How’d you start: I met a new friend of mine during school and she taught me how to do basic roleplaying Platforms you’ve used: Notebook, Tumblr and other websites Worst experience: The only thing I don't like when roleplaying is when my partner gets pushy. I don't like them forcing ideas down on me and making me feel bad when I don't do them. I am normally open to everything except certain things, which I will tell you plainly if you ask. But mostly I am down with anything, and I love playing as the characters people want to see. But push me and we got problems. Best experience: Most of the time I have awesome experiences and I love all the partners I roleplay with
