The guy had walked into his office to see the kid just, derobing. Like, actually taking his robe/coat off. That was it. Nothing else but still, the kid’s disturbed response and the older man just walking in to poke his head about and see if any papers had come in gave reason enough for Maes to give a rather disturbed response of his own; albeit it totally feigned. 

  “ I was worried you were using my office as a dressing room or something.”

Roy didn’t mean to, but he seemed to walk into the wrong room at the wrong time, looking up from the files he was holding to see the Fullmetal alchemist working out before him. He wasn’t so sure what to do with this and he tried to make it seem like it wasn’t a big deal.
