Gods I love writing (on the verge of tears because are the streets cobbled or tarmac)
On a completely unrelated note, does anyone know if rural countryside North Western English towns (specifically areas like the Forest of Bowl and/near Pendle Hill) (POV you come from the ⛏️🏭🚂🏚️ NW not the ⛰️🌲🏞️🏡 NW) would have smaller streets that are cobbled rather than tarmac? Or would that just be like your farmer's courtyard. And what kind of cobbles, like more tiles? Quite neat and tidy? Round cobbles? Oval cobbles? More like debris glued together by a seven year old?
AND IS THE ARCHITECTURE MORE LIKE SLATE LIKE IN THE LAKE DISTRICT OR IS IT MORE LIGHTER STONES LIKE WHEN YOU HEAD TOWARDS YORKSHIRE OR A MIX OF BOTH OR HAVE I JUST FORGOTTEN WHAT BUILDINGS LOOK LIKE BECAUSE I BARELY GO OUTSIDE PAST UGLY BRICKS????
