Feet don’t fail me now. More from the CobosMika Dance Company, Vall-llobrega, Catalonia, Spain
Fanny laï workshop
An innovating production in its form and intrepid in its rhythm; a reflection of the social revolution we live in and the vanity of human conflicts. A dance proposal that impacts and moves the spectator. A physical and sensual pilgrimage defying gravity and taking you to faraway landscapes through an innovative visual arts scenography. The poetical and mystic atmosphere of the paintings by Russian painter, philosopher and writer Nikolai Roerich has inspired the work of CobosMika, international dance company born in Germany in 2000 by Olga Cobos and Peter Mika. WISH presents an intrepid choreography, with fast and syncopated movements with elements of aerial dance and visual arts. The work proposes a reflection on the vanity of human desires through the metaphor of pilgrimage. A path along the poetry of the human body, cultural symbolism and the consciousness of the inner journey that, sooner or later, every human being is inclined to take. And all of it enveloped in the original music of renowned Israeli composer Avi Belleli and the innovative visual effects from Creative studio Desilence Studio.
“Innocent when you dream / de borrachera en borrachera” dancers from the CobosMika Company SEEDS (Yellow) interpreting a drunken dance and my photographic capture interpreting their interpretation
