admittedly as a lesbian, I do miss out on some of the fun of boy group fandom and the seemingly endless thirst for these men, however! I hope anyone who watched the Legacy mv will appreciate the gorgeous piece Yeosang has delivered through his performance video, and can lay thirst aside for a moment

the nudity in Legacy mv isn’t for titillation but for storytelling — this man has just lost everything, this is rebirth, this is starting over from nothing, this is rising from the ashes because no force will ever break him no matter how close it comes — this is his body as art, as a tool, as the only thing he’s got left and by God it’ll be enough — this is symbolism of vulnerability, he spread his wings and they got torn, damaged, ripped out, so he could have surrendered but, no, he discovered new parts of himself instead and is still here fighting, he literally is laid bare (look at the illusion in this still of a curled position and the hue of the trousers gives the impression of being fully naked, like when someone is born) — the complexity of Legacy as performance art, a dynamic story told through contemporary dance, impactful lyrics, and the use of winged imagery in a rise and fall — please watch Legacy again without any shock at him being topless and really try to see what he brings to life, it’s quite beautiful
