Contemporary dance classes based on floor work, partnering work and simple acrobatic sequences led by dancer and choreographer Roser López Espinosa from Barcelona. This training approaches movement from the basis of an articulated, soft, agile, fast and powerful body, taking advantage of the movement capacity of the spine as a motor: curves, spirals, twists, riples and combined ondulating movements. We go through floor work, with rolls, glides, simple acrobatic movements and jumps. We do partnering exercises, from couple and group lifts and connections to building up architectures of “several bodies linked as one” or “knotts”, strategies that go from subtility to complex shared paths. We awaken the tuning and the sense of team to create together fast trajectories in space.
