the author is going to intro this one; surprise. anyway the least interesting but unfortunately relevant development in this project has been admitting that based on... about everything I've read/personally experienced since the first unexpected installment of this in 2024 is that I do probably have a killer case of burnout. unfortunately the other side of this is that the remedy for this is consistently "you need to literally just rest" and...*looks at world*....that is not precisely feasible for me right now. that said a few of you might remember that I also did a return trip to the House and Chicago in 2024, and given the rabbit hole this all became, you might expect something came of it. that's actually an understatement in some regards but much like scared rabbits it's been hard to get out from the underground.
that all said the probably insane but more important part that I'll hopefully expand upon this week on its own page is that there's this trend. I still haven't finished (and I doubt there's an actual answer), but it feels like the same weird fire of that KLF book, the band I listened to since high school, the exhortations of an author through his light bearers, of an old man carrying fire through the mountains, of another man saying you have to carry it even if you can't see it. and whatever that is, beyond the burnout, is why I left my last post, and it's this, whatever this is. my one inch ring of fire, and I'm not sure why that matters, but it does.
so to finally add fuel to the flames, this is the first Cobragate installment of the Tyrfingr Network, and I'm going to continue releasing it in parts until it's done with this chapter, which does not at all mention Cobragate and arguably starts at the end with a character we have not met, but that's honestly highly arguable too and tbf this is not a highly linear affair. if you haven't read the first installment STS-136: Hávahol, nothing is mandatory but you might be even more confused otherwise.
all that, and honestly. I have to wait another year for this joke to come around, and I think she's been waiting long enough to meet everyone.
