It’s Wednesday, and we should be excited for the new episode of SPN, but instead there are haters out there trying to ruin our squee.

People are actually trying to act like Misha is somehow evil for creating the YouAreNotAlone campaign that is raising funds for the SPN Crisis Support Network.

It’s gotten so bad they’re even shaming Cockles shippers and their squee with blogs such as this one (seriously, block it).

Haters cannot comprehend AKF and YANA existing in the same space at the same time, and that’s sad.

Misha and Jensen didn’t think they NEEDED to credit Jared for anything with YANA, because this is their project.

Were Misha’s fans complaining that AKF didn’t include him? No. Misha’s been doing the charity thing for a while, and we were quite happy that Jared hopped on board.

As for the ship shamers, it’s so transparent how J2 tinhats are allowed to talk about how they’re so “married” and how their wives are beards and tag hate at the actors and wives, but we get a sudden influx of Cockles interaction, and by GOD, how DARE we enjoy it?!?!?

Just remember folks, as has been made evident by this past weekend, THEY SEE THE HATE. THEY KNOW WHO THE PROBLEM PEOPLE REALLY ARE.

New blog inciting people to bully Cockles shippers for enjoying the interactions of their faves.

Wonders if this blogger will also create a AKFisnotforJ2stans blog? No?

Hmmm...

(EDIT: Blog has been shamed into taking down MOST of their earlier blog posts and reposting them with the names marked out. 

While still a nasty blog, at least they’re learning that they shouldn’t post people’s names so they can be harassed.

We will continue to post the names of HATERS however, because they are full of HATE and should be shamed.)

Post-Jibcon Wank Report

So initially, this was supposed to be called the Wank-tacular, full of screencaps and links to the shitty fandom behavior that went down this weekend. 

But honestly, we’re all a little burned out on it.

We’ve seen some disgusting behavior, accusations, and downright lies to the point that we would never be able to fit it all in one post. We do have some screencaps/receipts, though, that we’re holding onto for reference. (OK, we included one or two.)

Leading up to Friday, people were doing their normal thing, being excited, wanking over the most recent episode, talking about Jibcon expectations. There was the usual amount of hate being thrown at Destiel and Cockles shippers. 

Misha said something distasteful on Twitter, and made it worse by trying to explain himself instead of apologize. That didn’t fly over well on either side of the aisle. But actually comparing him to a serial killer? Too far.

But then it was announced that Jared wasn’t going to be at the con.  Wank cranked up to quite possibly unheard of levels, and it got really nasty. There were a handful of Cockles shippers (Like, literally five posts) who expressed their excitement at the possibility of getting some extra Cockles moments. But people were not rejoicing that Jared was ill. 

After the early excitement from that small handful of Cockles shippers died down, and they realized not only what they’d said, but also how bad Jared’s situation actually was, they quickly retracted their statements and went into full Support Jared mode.

People who are usually considered ”Anti Jared” because they criticize some of the things he does, came out in full support mode.

But that wasn’t good enough for the haters.

They had to harp about those five whole posts. They had to take things out of context and act like we were all evil, that there were TONS of Cockles/Destiel shippers wishing Jared ill-will, and were glad Jared was sick. (Most of these got shut down by lovely people over the weekend.)

One long anon to Nancy completely twisted everything and tried to claim that people were sending hate to Jared, that Cockes and Destielers were hoping for more Cockles at AHBL (Misha won’t even be there, he’ll be on his Gishwhes trip) and even claimed people wanted Jared to continue to be sick throughout season 11, just for more Destiel.

When asked for proof?

The people who are considered ”Anti Jared” by his supporters got called out for being 2-faced, and hypocritical. REALLY, people? Someone is sick, and these people are showing their support, and you have to rag on them for being SUPPORTIVE? JFC. 

It’s like we can do nothing right in their eyes.

But anyway, shippers also got accused of “taking advantage of Jensen” during the con, and supposedly some “gross destiel questions” were asked. All we’ve seen so far is that one question about the preferred word use that was brought up by the show, “deestiel” or “casdean”. His response? “No preference.”

Someone also complained about the 10.22 fight scene question asked, but Jensen answered very thoroughly what he thought, even after saying “That’s a question for Bob.”

There are even reports of Jensen admitting to screwing up for his previous behavior regarding Destiel.

Haters even complained, called it DISGUSTING, when a person got a screencap from the show signed by Jensen and Misha. Really? It’s a screencap. But we’re just going to overlook that someone had this manip image made into a blanket, and signed by the entire cast. (I’d find a link, but I really don’t care to look for it)

Let’s see... Anything else I forgot to mention?

The only thing I have to add is that I saw a few people on twitter mentioning how crappy it felt to watch people get wincest manips signed, while they felt like they couldn’t have their destiel fanart signed because of the crap it’s caused in the past.  It’s understandable why people feel hurt by this, but hopefully after Jensen’s comments people won’t feel like they have to be as ashamed of their ship or fanart at cons. It’s a step in the right direction, anyway.

I normally don't dignify hate with a response but one from this morning got me a little riled up.

I reblog Destiel, Wincest, and Cockles. Mostly it's because the pictures/GIFs are cute or the fanart is amazing but also because it's my blog and I can post whatever I want. I don't actually think that Jensen and Misha are fucking in real life. I also don't appreciate the hate in regards to my posts. If you don't like Desitel, Wincest, or Cockles then why are you following me in the first place? Seriously, if you don't like it, unfollow.
