A SURPRISE FOR HECTOR (English Translation)

Hey gang, remember all those Coco kids books that continued the story that we all know and love but only came out in France because Disney is cruel and hates us?

Yeah, well I was sitting around one night eating pizza and decided “Eh, why not translate it.”

For the record, I don’t speak or read French so I had to resort to Google Translate, well known as the pinnacle for accurate translations for any medium *cough*sarcasm*cough*. Luckily though it is really rudimentary French for little kids so I was able to get the major gist of it with taking only a few liberties with the translation.

The original scans come from @babycharmander , so thank them for actually buying the book and scanning it. Though you could really thank them by following their page, as they are also a very talented artist and writer. ;)

I will be uploading the story in parts while I translate it, so this will be the master list. If it goes well I might just translate the other two if I can manage to get the scans.

Does it ever specifically say that Miguel chooses not to tell his family about what happened to him on Dia de los Muertos, or that he does and they don’t believe him?
