My somewhat-tossed-off attempt at cocoaalter’s (who for some reason I can’t tag) Engelkids prompt. (I’m not sure these would even qualify as Gens because A, we don’t know how/if Gens can even have children and B, multi-colored Gens is a no-no. But this was still too fun of an idea to resist) So here’s Shi Shi and Mei, Momo’s and Gyokuro’s nonexistent babies. :’D Shi Shi: Female, Pink/Jade Shi Shi is, unsurprisingly, based on the Shishi-mai, (Japanese lion dance) and the classic Japanese folktale, Momotaro. (Peach Boy) Mei: Doesn’t Identify (genetically male), Jade/Pink Mei is based on a Hannya mask and Hinomoto Oniko, a Chinese/Japanese “political” character. (really difficult to explain in few words) The design of Mei’s chain of temple bells is super clunky and silly looking... Maybe someday I’ll try to redesign them, but it’s not terribly high priority since I don’t actually consider these two to be “characters” so much as just designs. :T
