Do you have pictures of the meatrock?

this is the only photo i have of the late meatrock ( location unknown ) 

i dont remember how i acquired this rock and i dont know how it left my possession but if you see this rock in real life good luck because its already too late

Do you have any experience with rubber boas? If so, how do you think they compare to KSB's as potential beginner reptiles? (Your cricket cookies looked amazing, btw!)

If I ever came across one at a show, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Rubber boas are one of my favorite species and make fantastic beginner snakes. The only thing I’d caution you to look out for is captive bred vs. wild caught- WC individuals are likely to have a heavy parasite load and might not acclimate as well.

My somewhat-tossed-off attempt at cocoaalter’s (who for some reason I can’t tag) Engelkids prompt. (I’m not sure these would even qualify as Gens because A, we don’t know how/if Gens can even have children and B, multi-colored Gens is a no-no. But this was still too fun of an idea to resist) So here’s Shi Shi and Mei, Momo’s and Gyokuro’s nonexistent babies. :’D  Shi Shi: Female, Pink/Jade  Shi Shi is, unsurprisingly, based on the Shishi-mai, (Japanese lion dance) and the classic Japanese folktale, Momotaro. (Peach Boy)  Mei: Doesn’t Identify (genetically male), Jade/Pink Mei is based on a Hannya mask and Hinomoto Oniko, a Chinese/Japanese “political” character. (really difficult to explain in few words) The design of Mei’s chain of temple bells is super clunky and silly looking... Maybe someday I’ll try to redesign them, but it’s not terribly high priority since I don’t actually consider these two to be “characters” so much as just designs. :T

Been thinking for a while this would be kind of fun to do with individual characters rather than just art styles, so I tried it out with Momo~ This is far from all of her influences, but I thought these were some of the more interesting, less obvious ones. (Didn’t feel the need to include things like ‘Japanese Fox Mask' and 'Kimonos’) That Dewott is me from like, 2010, btw. Blurred out the face since I haven’t technically revealed my identity to the Tumblr crowd yet, but the full, un-edited picture isn’t exactly difficult to track down if you really want to.

I started this a little over a week ago and I had /hoped/ to have it finished before the new page was released... but I got slammed with work things half-way through and by the time I was able to come back to it the new page was already out and I’d lost all motivation to try and finish it. orz So have an abandoned WIP, I guess. *sigh*

So for some reason I just couldn’t for the life of me manage to do anything with the Engel-High prompt.... but there was no way I was going to miss the Pokegens bandwagon. :P

If Momo were a Pokemon she’d be a Dewott. Momo is actually heavily based on a Gijinka Dewott design and cosplay I did many years ago. Her dual fans and the fox mask were directly inspired by that old concept. So there was no way she couldn’t be a Dewott, haha~ It’s only a half-assed sketch thing, but at least it’s something. I want to be active again, dammit!! Why is it so hard?!?! ;A;
