Gah! No!! (Omg thanks but this might take forever eue~)
1. A song that makes you feel happy- Stray Italian Greyhound by Vienna Teng~
2. A song that makes you feel sad- The Best of Times from The Dieselpunk Opera
3. A song that makes you feel badass- SIE SIND DAS ESSEN UND WIR SIND DIE JÄGER! (The first opening for Attack on Titan is pretty much the most badass song ever.)
4. A song that makes you feel angry- There aren’t really any songs that make me feel angry, though I imagine if I were stuck with someone playing any song I dislike I’d get kind of frustrated with it.
5. A song that makes you feel in love- Well I don’t know about in love, but there are a few of Vienna Teng’s songs that just make me feel really hopeful, and I guess in a way hope and love are pretty similar, because they both remind you that there is always some good in the world, so (sorry about the short tangent) I’d have to say The Atheist Christmas Carol and The Last Snowfall, both by Vienna Teng, and King and Lionheart by Of Monsters and Men
6. A song that makes you feel heartbroken- Transatlanticism by Death Cab for Cutie
7. A song that makes you jump in excitement- Little Talks by Of Monsters and Men
8. A song that makes you think about life- Passenger Seat and Stable Song, both by Death Cab for Cutie, and Blue Lips by Regina Spektor
9. A song that makes you cry- the Valshe and Wotamin covers of Soundless Voice and Proof of Life make me cry, and I don’t cry often, so that really says something.
10. A song you find boring- I tend to avoid songs that bore me, so I can’t list one off the top of my head
11. A song you listened to too many times and then got sick of it- I tend to do that a lot, but usually I’ll come back to the songs later and find I still like them. The most prominent time I got bored with music in my memory is A Fine Frenzy’s albums, and I still don’t listen to them often.
12. A song you love- Whispers in the Dark by Mumford and Sons
13. A song you hate- Pumped up Kicks by Foster the People.
14. A song that makes you dance- Mountain Sound by Of Monsters and Men
15. A song that makes you sing- I Will Wait and Babel by Mumford and Sons
16. A song that gets stuck in your head- AMERICAN PIE. Seriously, I once had that stuck in my head for four days straight, not even kidding. I never get tired of it, though, so I guess I don’t mind.
17. Your favorite song- That varies daily, and even then I can never pick one. Currently, I really like Hopeless Wanderer by Mumford and Sons
18. The last song you listened to- Tiptoe by Imagine Dragons
19. The song you’re listening to now- My Freeze Ray from Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog
20. The first five songs on your iPod- Well I really only listen to songs on my favorites playlist (which is really long, like, a couple hundred songs) so I’ll go from there. They’re all in alphabetical order too.
The New Albion Radio Hour from the Dieselpunk Opera
New Albion 5 from the Dieselpunk Opera
The Green Room Pale from the Dieselpunk Opera
The Pitch from the Dieselpunk Opera
21. The first five songs on your iPod on shuffle (going from the favorites playlist again)
Death of and Interior Decorator by Death Cab for Cutie
Overture from the Steampunk Opera (which came before the Dieselpunk Opera, and there’s going to be a third, the Atompunk Opera. They’re all by Paul Shapera and you should go listen to them)
Flare from Homestuck Volume 8
22. A song from your childhood- Well my mom used to play Indigo Girls songs in the car when I was a kid so Ghost is a song from my childhood and one I still love now.
23. The song you want to die listening to- I’d put off death for a month trying to decide on one, I like too many songs.
24. The song you last sang- I don’t tend to sing whole songs very often, because a lot of time there are people around and I’m not a singer, but I was singing along to Little Talks recently.
25. A song that brings up good memories- Friday by Rebecca Black, interestingly enough. When I was in seventh grade I was in stage crew for the school play, and a bunch of my friends were in the play. The play was a parody of Harry Potter, written by one of the school’s English teachers (he writes the play every year). Anyways, there were horcruxes, and one of them was a book and when you opened it up Friday would start playing. I was always backstage (which was really just a hallway behind the cafeteria which had a stage and doubled as our auditorium) and we’d all start dancing as soon as the song started playing. The play was always fun, it was really like a family with everyone involved
26. A song that brings up bad memories- I’d been listening to Nothing Left to Say by Imagine Dragons a lot when I found out my grandpa had passed away
27. A song that you can fall asleep to- Passenger Seat by Death Cab for Cutie and The Atheist Christmas Carol by Vienna Teng
28. A song that makes you scream when you hear it- I don’t really know…?
29. A song that makes you feel pumped up- Again, I think I’d have to go with the first opening to Attack on Titan
30. A song you wish everyone would listen to- Everything from the Steampunk and Dieselpunk Operas. EVERYTHING. Seriously, just go to Paul Shapera’s bandcamp site and listen to both of those. They’re fantastic.
31. A song you haven’t heard in a long time- Title and Registration by Death Cab for Cutie, which is kind of a shame because I quite like that song. I think I’ll go listen to it now.
32. A song you can always go back to and listen to and fall in love with it all over again- Antebellum by Vienna Teng
33. A song with a story behind it- I firmly believe every song has a story behind it, but one that immediately comes to mind is Whatever You Want by Vienna Teng
34. A song that’s starting to grow on you- Twenty Faces by A City on a Lake
35. A song you’re starting to get sick of- I have plenty of new music to listen to, and old music to go back to, so nothing at the moment, which is always nice
36. The song you’ve listened to the most- I don’t actually know (iTunes doesn’t update that when I sync my iPod) but I’ve listened to Broken Crown by Mumford and Sons a lot lately
So there you go, Samantha. I think that took about an hour, so you’d better read all of this (and go listen to every song I listed.) :)
