I finished Consistency in Coffee and let me tell you that I loved it so so so much. It was light hearted and had just the amount of 'drama' I needed. Also, I love Niall in this GOD! cocoawords, you did an AMAZING job with this.

Welcome to the new (side)blog for Put Your Records On!

This is a new Niall fic I'm working on. It's taking a lot of courage to share with everyone since this is the first fic I have ever written. It's a work in progress and I'd greatly appreciate any and every helpful input/constructive criticism. The blog's not all there so bare with me while I figure it all out. 

In the mean time, here's a little summary (I'm shit at summaries so tell me if it's bad): 

Ophelia Rae Scott knows three things for sure: music is the answer to everything; laughter is the best medicine; it’s okay to get lost sometimes.

Niall Horan knows three things for sure: it’s never too late to try; there’s a constant compromise between thinking and breathing; “you’re going to find yourself somewhere, somehow.”

AU where friendship truly is beautiful, you can never give too much love, and needing to learn how to just let your hair down.

i'm writing a fic and i need to know is it worth it to make a separate blog for it?

i knew you had good music taste the second let's dance to joy division came up in NDP bc that's like one of my favorite songs but you really do have GREAT music taste and you have introduced me to a lot of new stuff i love it!

Are you sure you aren’t thinking about CiC? Because even though I love love love The Wombats and Let’s Dance to Joy Division is my #1 favourite song of all time, it’s never been mentioned in NDP!! However, Ivy, the lovely protagonist of CiC has mentioned The Wombats on several occasions (I literally thought it was impossible to love her more but then that happened)!! 

I think, so far, the only bands that have been mentioned by name in NDP are The Preatures, alt-J, and AM? Don’t quote me on that, I just had to do a search of NDP to make sure I hadn’t actually ever mentioned The Wombats!! (and there are definitely going to be some more bands mentioned in the future……..) 

But I’m so stoked you like the sort of music I post!! I’m always happy to help people discover new music!! ((:

An Announcement...

Hello friends! 

So, as per request, we are doing another AU challenge! Only things will be a bit different this time!

Firstly, the writers are going to be different:

Natalie at stylesprimes

Adina at inchildhoodwedream

Ashley at justanchorandhope

Yes, these are only four writers. But we want the fifth one to be picked by YOU! You can start sending in nominations here and they will be accepted until July 21st!

Secondly, the way we choose the prompt is going to be a little different, too. Again, we want your input! So you can submit prompts here and they will also be accepted until July 21st!

On the 21st, I will pick 4 or 5 of the most interesting prompts and there will be a vote on them. The vote will conclude on July 25th! The prompt that gets the majority of the votes will be selected!

All future announcements will be made on this blog!
