Chirps Up! King Canary’s cashmere and citra hop IPA conditioned on coconut. The cashmere hop + coconut combo is phenomenal! !!!
King Harbor’s Coconut IPA (Picked up at Whole Foods in Newport Beach). A 3 of 4. At first this seems really weird, but it grows on you after more than a few sips. Smells of raw coconut and tropical fruit and citrus, and drinks much the same. Solid bitterness and balance - sometime coconut ends up making things taste overly sweet, and this has enough hop presence to cut through that. Easy-drinking, and a solid IPA with an interesting twist.
