Such childish ambitions.
Explanation for my Ponytofen design:
I made Richtofen part Umbrum, hence why he has fangs/ large canines and a curved horn. Why did I do this? Mostly bc he's evil, or at least he isn't necessarily good in any version we have seen. Even Primis left people to rot and die with little to no remorse, so he's not safe from this either.
The missing chunks in Ultimis' horn was caused by his interaction with the MPD. His magic works as it should but his psyche is still badly damaged from this.
With his magic, Ultimis is able to create a resemblance of wings that do function. Unicorns can generally fly with their magic but Ult Richtofen has a lot of vanity as we know, both for his physical looks and for his psyche, so it would be obvious that in the MLP universe he would want to be an alicorn or at least present himself in ways that are powerful to others. I also wanted him to be able to do this do make him scarier to the average joe, but for those who know him to be aware that this is just a display. Richtofen presenting himself as a false Alicorn is so Richtofen, he's a power hungry, prideful man-child after all. Or something like that.
His cutie mark was challenging so I left it ambiguous, with a gear, an Erlenmeyer flask and a sparkle in the center.
Intelligence wise, Richtofen is pretty much a Jack of all trades so hopefully something like this suffices. Lmk if you have any suggestions/recommendations, I will likely be making more Ponytofen art in the future.
