I'm gonna take a break from creating for a little bit. I've had a sour taste in my mouth when people were talking shit about 18+/MDNI creators on TikTok and now it's grown into something so much worse for the CoD community. The scene has lost an individual that didn't deserve to be ostracized the way he was. He was a son, a grandson, a nephew, a brother and because of rumors. Because a minor decided to pretend to be an adult to try and make him look bad.

My sincerest condolence to Inquisitor Ghost's family. To Vincent Teskio's family. A father shouldn't have to be burying his son because of this shit. I'm holding my son longer and harder for this poor father...

Content theft on Tiktok

Noticed this today while on cod tiktok. There is a user whose profile is in the image below who stole content from another user.

They stole an edit/rendition originally posted by user @adoreghvst and then cropped it so much that their water mark was removed.

I'm not sure the op has tumblr but I thought I'd post this. When I commented on their post to tell them I knew it was stolen they deleted my comment 🙃

One thing that p*sses me off a lot is content theft and credit stealing/a lack of credit. ESPECIALLY with AI tools on the rise, stealing content for apps like character ai.

I hope this spreads awareness and I'm sorry that adoreghvst got their content stolen :(

TikTok Ban / Plan

I am a US citizen and as clearly evident by my governments lack of care that the people want the silly dancing app it has become perfectly clear that I no longer care what the government has to say about it. As it stands now Creators on TikTok are attempting to ban together (all 170 million US ones at least) and stick it to the man. Some downloading a Chinese version of the app (or what Americans assume is a Chinese version I will not be doing this because I can't download another thing. I'm tired). I will be however, deleting my accounts on anything Meta that I can, because fuck that lizard man. He spent BILLIONS to get tiktok banned because it was something he couldn't have. ITS NOT NATIONAL SECURITY, its because people genuinely came together for goals and started to THINK on their own and not how the government tells them to do. Not only that but despite the amount of people on the app that were right leaning, it was a place where MANY left leaning and progressive people were able to confer and come up with ideas and political activism. While true it was no longer just a little music dance app, but a place where communities thrived in a way that they hadn't before. Expression was something so many people craved and needed, and it was something that was found within the finicky algorithm.

Despite what the gov't says, EVERY APP we use collects our data, Foreign apps are common place, and the biggest breaches of data security have been META owned, not bytedance. Maybe we should hold out legislators to the same fact checking standards of a 9th grader working on a research project in the early 2000's. I'm going to need to see your source lists.

While I never posted much on there, I used the silly app to make some amazing friends, find some amazing fics, and find my muse to start joining in fandom spaces once again. I am sad that the app is going away but I will be here with my silly soap content. You won't find me anywhere else. (at least not yet I dunno if I have the energy to make something new). I know that I personally have like 3 people on this app that care about what I have to say, but... yeah. Thanks TikTok, you will be missed.
