Take What You Need Part 2
After the night at the bar, you decide on whether or not you and Juice are together.
Juice’s smile faded as he shifted awkwardly on his bike. His hands gripped the handlebars as his knuckles began to turn white as he squeezed harder.
“So…last night meant nothing to you? I’m never enough…I’m just never enough for anyone even you.” As Juice said this his voice cracked despite trying to hide it. He looked away as tears welled up in his eyes.
“You are enough…” Your voice is soft but firm as you reach out, gently grasping his chin, guiding his face back toward you.
“I’m so sorry,” you whisper, your thumb brushing lightly against his cheek. “Please… forgive me, Juice. I never meant to make you cry.”
Juice turned his face into your touch for a brief moment before pulling away and wiping his eyes, “You say that but you’re still leaving me.”
“He said…he said he would hurt you…and he’s already hurt me. ” you said as your head lowered fiddling with your hands.
Juice’s expression darkened instantly the sadness gone instead replaced with anger, “He hurt you?” He asked his voice low and dangerous.
You nodded as you began to pull up your jacket to reveal finger print bruises on your wrist. Juice sucked in a sharp breath, his entire body went rigid as his eyes locked in on your bruises.
“He…did t-this to you?” He asked his voice shaking with barely contained rage.
You didn’t say anything instead you remained silent trembling. Juice let out a sharp bitter laugh, shaking his head like he couldn’t believe everything he was hearing. His tongue ran over his bottom lip as he exhaled hard through his nose.
“That’s funny…” he muttered nodding to himself, “That’s real fucking funny…”
“He thinks he can put his hands on you and now he wants to threaten me?” Juice’s head tilted, his eyes dark and unreadable, “He really thinks I’m gonna let this slide?”
“What are you gonna do?” You asked as you reached for him. He grabbed your hand pulling into his chest, his heartbeat was racing.
“I love you Y/N…I’ll handle this.” He pulled away as he began to put on his helmet.
“I love you too…” you said with a sad smile.
Juice’s breath hitched at your words. For a brief moment, the rage in his eyes flickered, replaced by something raw, something vulnerable. His fingers tightened around the handlebars, like he was holding onto them for dear life.
He turned his head slightly, just enough to look at you over his shoulder. His voice, when he spoke, was softer now. “Say it again.”
Your chest ached. “I love you, Juice.”
“Then go to my house and stay there…” with those words Juice started his bike riding off into the distance.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Night had fallen and there you sat in the dim light of the lamp on the sofa. Fear raged inside you as every tick of the clock felt like forever. The knot in your stomach only grew tighter.
You had no idea where he was or what he was doing but you knew why and that terrified you. The familiar sound of the rumbling of a motorcycle outside made your breath hitch. You leaped up from the sofa, your heart hammering as heavy boots echoed at the steps.
In that moment all you could hope was it was Juice please let it be Juice. Then, the door creaked open and your heart soothed as Juice stepped in. Immediately you found yourself jumping into his arms, his arms flew up in surprise for a brief second before he held you tight.
As soon as Juice stepped inside, your eyes searched him frantically, scanning every inch of him. His face was unreadable, his posture tense, but it wasn’t until he unbuttoned his kutte and shrugged it off that you saw it—fresh blood staining his white T-shirt.
Your breath caught in your throat. Your hand shot up to cover your mouth as a shaky whisper escaped.
He just stood there, chest rising and falling, his dark eyes locked onto yours—silent, unflinching.
“What did you do?” You asked almost in a whisper as you stepped towards him.
“What I had to do.” His voice was low eerily calm.
“Did you kill him?” You asked as you inhaled sharply your chest tightening.
“He will never hurt you again.”
