Day One
Attempting to make a website from scratch for the experience. Got stuck once I realized that web authentication/security in registration was a thing, and anyway I don’t know the first thing about databases- creating, maintaining, anything. (The first step is admitting you have a problem, right?) And I don’t really know where to look, aside from a vague feeling about SQL, Ruby, and PHP. On the upside, I played around with the bash command terminal line thing that I kind of understand but really don’t. I can now make directories and look around in them! And. Well. That’s it. :/
If anyone has any idea where to look as far as databases and their connection to websites, especially in terms of website registration/authentication is you wanna be specific.
Also found a positively brilliant site as far as the HTML/CSS side of things goes in site registration. Really, it's perfect and I learned so much.10/10 would recommend you go here
