HYBRIDs, I…
Hey, care to describe your book a bit? I'm curious. .v.
I’ll try to keep it brief. :D
Code Junkie is thus far my longest written work and one I’m most proud of (close to Fletcher) – it’s also the current keystone to a worldbuilding project I’ve mulled around in my mind for a while now, the setting of Deptford County in Washington State. While not nearly as whimsical or blatantly… “off,” something like Welcome to Night Vale is a loose comparison (I even reached out to their publishing side very early on in both our productions, but they were too busy [and rightfully so!] to discuss or field any manuscripts).
On my days of most bold self-esteem, I would hazard to call Code Junkie my take on a modern telling of Lovecraft, through the lense of Palahniuk. That phrase alone was what led me to write it, it first being conceptualized as a vlog series. At its core, CJ is about a troubled man with both moments of greatest, moments of disgusting behavior, and plenty of opportunities to make life a better place for himself and those around him.
But as a throwback to the #shamlife days, as my good friend Gio once said, “Sometimes you try to make your life better, by making it worse.”
It is also currently undergoing further copywriting revisions (the text itself will not change) and minor editorial services & procedures and I expect her to be available as a printed book by the holiday season, to give as a give to those you hate (or the postman).

Summer nears death, but smile because it's Friday!
"The world of Code Junkie is one part realistic tale of an unpleasant man with an unpleasant life... and the other is an odd exploration of the unknown."
Amazon has these nifty giveaways, and to celebrate the (anticipatedly busy) weekend, two digital copies of Code Junkie will be given as awful prizes to two winners! Use the link below to access the contest page -- the Deptford County Chamber of Commerce appreciates You!
Enjoy the sites, enjoy the coffee, and don't stare too long.
