Viking Code School 100 Hours of Code
Starting the Viking Code School's 100 Hours of Code.
This is basically a refresher for me on web dev going through the full stack from the front-end to the back end.
The guide is broken down into the respective pieces of a the "full stack", estimating roughly a total of 100 hours of coding and learning. More specifically, the guide outlines the walk-through of the stack as follows:
HTML & CSS -- 20 hours
Javascript & jQuery -- 25 hours
The Command Line & Git -- 5 hours
Databases & SQL -- 5 hours
Ruby -- 20 hours
Ruby on Rails -- 25 hours
The guide, in fact, is a compilation of what the author regards as the "best" resources for the buck on learning each portion of the stack. The learning content is not original to the author and actually points to pre-existing resources, many of which are based on CodeAcademy guides.
