Howard Stark was no stranger to lateness; far too often he was late for the sake of being fashionable, or because he liked the thought of everyone waiting on him, but every now and again he was late simply because he was LATE. Breakfast that morning was the latter of the two cases. He shlumped into the kitchen, rubbing his temples and moaning as he fell dramatically into a chair. He shushed Peggy (who had not yet said anything) and reached for the pitcher of Bloody Mary waiting for him. ❛ California’s too bright, ❜ he said grouchily. ❛ How’s anyone supposed to have a peaceful hangover on a beautiful day like this? ❜

     ‘ I’d hoped I would see you again. ’ He certainly sounds genuine enough, and the great smile on his face doesn’t do much harm either. Thor isn’t such a big fan of being tracked down by just about anybody but, fortunately for her, Peggy gets a free pass for having won him over. ‘ If you’re here about the trouble from earlier, you can tell your friends that I’ve dealt with it. ’ Not before making it worse, but he doesn’t mention that.

         EVEN AS A SUPER HERO, there are people you only expect to read about. they seem to exist on a different plane of existence entirely ( not literally in this instance ). beneath all the masks and the powers, there a teen from new jersey lies && definitely doesn’t expect to be meeting THE peggy carter. though, when the time comes what amazing, inspiring statement will this seasoned ( ? ) hero offer for her first impression ?

     Some things never change. Thor has seen thousands of years’ worth of troubles, and not just those of mankind. It has helped him to see a certain truth of the worlds, however: something else always comes along. A thousand years ago, the pressing issue was surviving, securing land, ensuring a future for ones’ people. Today? Everything is simpler and more complicated than it ever was.
