Transfer Petition Vs Section 24 CPC: Supreme Court Or High Court — Where Should You File?

Transfer of cases depends on the correct forum and the nature of jurisdiction involved. If the transfer is within the same State, the remedy generally lies under Section 24 CPC before the High Court or District Court. If the case has to move from one State to another, the proper remedy is usually a transfer petition before the Supreme Court under Section 25 CPC.
