Maeve works at a hardware store and one day Ezra comes in (well, he opens the door) stops dead in his tracks, and looks at her. Then he spends the next hour talking to her about everything and anything. Then he comes back every day for a whole year. He starts driving her to and from. They get brunch together every Saturday and Sunday, and unless she tells him no they spend the whole day together. He rubs her feet after long days. He knows when her periods are.

And Maeve is just like: That’s fine and normal. He is my friend : )

I feel like they're codependent in alllll the ways. Financially is obviously the biggest one. I really dig the concept of Dream (intentionally or not) wanting Sapnap to need him. Not only does he like taking care of him, but it also ensures that he can't just decide to leave one day. Especially if it involves finance control. Especially the way of giving someone else all your money/cards/etc and them just buying you everything you want and need.

But emotional codependency too. both of them are deeply needy with one another and can't handle being apart for too long. if they're not physically together, they're constantly calling and texting each other. And it's dependent to the point where they would literally do anything just to keep the other around.

And this is a lesser one that I see more often, but I also really like Dream doing literally everything for Sapnap. Cooking for him, taking care of him, etc.
