as much as i miss tour, a bitch needed this vacation. got sick a few times and tired myself out, jamaica is now blessing me with the relaxation i crave. maybe i'll go out and do something wild later, but catch me getting a sunburn on the beach. i'm looking forward to the luminious lagoon. i think that would be such a fucking beautiful sight. what are your plans now that we're here? // @cityofdreamsstarters

YOU’RE INVITED TO MONTEGO BAY, JAMAICA!

Dreamers, come along to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the capital of Saint James Parish on Jamaica’s north coast. The city is the fourth-largest urban area in the country by population, after Kingston, Spanish Town, and Portmore, all of which form the Greater Kingston Metropolitan Area, home to over half a million people. As a result, Montego Bay is the second-largest anglophone city in the Caribbean, after Kingston.

All guests will be staying at the Sandals Montego Bay: All Inclusive Resort designated right on Jamiaca’s largest exclusive beach. It includes six exciting bars, twelve gourmet restaurants, and a vast variety of activities and excursions to dive into. Guests will also be taken straight to the resort from the Montego Bay Airport (MBI) in BMW’s waiting at the terminal upon arrival.

The Jamaicans love to express themselves through their music and to celebrate with dance. The most popular form of Jamaican music is reggae.  Reggae has a laid back sound that has become popular worldwide. Music is the heartbeat of Jamaica! Throughout the party, discover trademark Reggae, dancehall, jam to the island beat, or just let loose to your own rhythm. Looking for the dance floor? Learn and battle out different traditional dances. Looking to relax? Lay in a hammock and enjoy the soothing sounds.

The tradition of graphic arts began with indigenous Taino sculpting and pottery and has continued with the evolution of the African tradition. Jamaica has a long tradition of pottery, including items used in everyday domestic life, which are referred to as yabba. There is a West African tradition of basket and straw mat weaving, seashell art, bead making, embroidery, sewing, and wood carving. At the party, you can find tables to practice each art.
