"STRAWBERRY BUBBLEGUM"| JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE| Codie Wiggins (by Codie Wiggins)
Dance workshops always prove inspirational.
The Codie Wiggins one I went to last night was probably one of the best, inspiration-wise, for me. He said a lot of great things and had so many on point points. He talked about power and lines, performance and personality and developing that character. Not to be a carbon copy. Not to go to LA with wrong intent. Not to do anything with wrong intent. To do it for you. That it isn't "I will", it's "I am". That the tongue is the most powerful part of our body and to be careful with it. Once you say something it's out there in the universe forever. You've breathed out that energy and you're going to get something, good or bad, back. So, speak positively. Act positively. Carry yourself in a good light. But, one thing stuck with me the most. He said something about rejection.
He said if you're ready, you can't get ready. Rejection isn't something denied to you, it's something that wasn't meant for you. It's like you're on a path, a pre-determined journey, and you veered off in the wrong direction and that's okay because you get right back to the road you were going on. Rejection doesn't exist. If you didn't get an audition, choreography, a concept...that's what was meant to happen. But remember to adjust. Remember to work towards what you want with good intent and if you really want to, try tackling that audition in a different way (try a different audition even) or try learning that choreography by counts instead of sounds or ask detailed questions to get a better idea of any information given to you. But being rejected? It happens. And once it happens, it can't un-happen. It just...is. And that's okay. That's fine. Being rejected is normal. Because there will be acceptance and opportunity. Rejection is just one extreme, meaning there's something on the opposite end. And when you get those opportunities, and take them, you're on the right path. You're going where you want to go. Honestly and surely.
Dance helps me in such beautiful, subtle ways.

Omarion " Entourage" Choreography By Codie Wiggins
I love this song... dug it up and found some folks rocking on it. This was my fav of the three. the choreo is almost exactly what I see when I close my eyes while listening to the song. Very strong and amazingly well put together combos but simple.. and not over done with a bunch of tech moves. feeeeling it!

Me Performing With Usher on the Today Show!!!!
SeeWiggins Says: Flo-Rida Frenzy!!
elektrolyts
To start off the show it was very explosive but they were surprisingly sloppy...and I felt that they were setting up for tricks I hardly saw any choreography. But I give a pass just for this show because it is a devastating blow to your confidence when you lose a key member to your crew, but over all their performance was solid didn't blow me away though.
RNG CREW
This crew is one of my favs there energy is amazing! and there swag is on 10! choreography was nice they just need more formation changes and to utilize there space a little more. I am excited to see what is next for this young crew..
COLLIZION CREW
I got one word for this crew from my home......SMASH!!!!!!! you have to go to youtube to watch this performance to see how NASTY these boys got on that stage. The moments they created, the way they catered to the crowd, the tricks were well organized and kept you guessing to see where it was coming from next, and their play on the song was DOPE! But enough of me talking about it you should go watch it for yourself! #winners for season7
VIVA MEXICO
I was shocked at what this crew was capable of doing, they were very diverse and clean at the different styles of hip hop they put in there piece. Their energy was high and you can feel a genuine hunger about them and that hunger is why they survived being in the bottom tonight in the battle. Great job tonight keep on surprising and proving people wrong.
MOS Wanted
This crew has A LOT of hype surrounding them and tonight they showed why. It is because they offer a new feel to hip hop choreography I enjoyed their movement and the formations they had inside there piece and they played the "hands in the air" in good light, not to much to say about them except, I HOPE YOU CAN LIVE UP TO THE BAR SET FOR YOUR NAME!!!

MTV’s “ABDC” returned with the superstars
First I would like to start off by saying this is my "opinion" on these crews, this is not based on previous knowledge or research.
Tonight the 7th season of MTV’s “ABDC” premiered with 5 crews taking on songs from the "superstar" Britney Spears. Each crew offered something different setting themselves apart from the next. Here is what I thought….
Just to start off since I was on season 5 of MTV’s “ABDC” Crew 3"Irratik" reminded me of Blueprint crew off rip. I enjoyed Blueprint so to be from the same studio and not meet the bar that was raised by your studio mates is disappointing. The crews hands were distracting and they had no energy. It seemed like they walked (the most basic dance move existing in almost every dance) the whole routine. I personally did not care for the performance but, the pictures they painted with the song were indeed eye catching. Like I said though I have seen it before in the Blueprint crew so I don't see them lasting long...Prove me wrong ladies.
“Fannypak” is back! I was a big fan of this crew on season 2 and it was also said my crew on season 5 got "fannypaked" (voted off unfairly) so I am happy to see them still together and strong. Their choreography is great but I do not see much growth, it still looks like the “Fannypak” from season 2. They have always painted well thought out concepts for the songs given and you can see EVERY detail, not mad at their performance tonight, its only the first episode and they have a long time left on the show. I know they have something up their sleeves just can’t wait to see what it is!
“Mix’d Elements” for me defiantly did not live up to their name. Out of the 5 crews this crew seemed to be the weakest. The performance started out very slow, nothing grabbed my attention to keep me intrigued. With a name like "Mix'd Elements" they showed they were very weak in terms of showing and being experienced in these "different styles" that brought them together. Their punchlines like JC said were VERY PREDICTABLE. The choice to put them at the bottom I agree with completely. But there is still a chance to redeem themselves, so lets see if they make it out next week and show us what else they have to offer because I didn't see it tonight.
“Stepboys” are probably not going to be the “fan favorite,” BUT, I think this crew has potential. From the opening leg they grabbed my attention with that flip onto the stage which is a FIRST in “ABDC” history. The way they played with their comedy and the storyline with the song given was thought out nicely. The only thing bad I could say about these "underdawgs" is they just need to clean up their choreography and show a little more dance. They surely have me puzzled about where they will stand after the next episode. Looking forward to seeing how far they go.
"8Flavahz" defiantly came with Flava straight out the gate. This crew for the first episode by far was my favorite crew, simply because they show so much diversity! Technique, tumbling, and good choreography. They showed great facials and energy throughout their performance and was able to utilize the stage with their formations and the moments they painted. The performance started very well and ended STRONG! Best crew of the night by far!
All and all I think this season of “ABDC” has a few hidden gems and a lot of funky moves to come. Go cast your votes http://www.mtv.com/shows/dance_crew/season_7/voting.jhtml and tune into next weeks episode Wednesday, April 18 at 10/9c to see which crews’ moves will dance on.
