Ingredients: 2 fillets cod. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1 teaspoon black pepper. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1 lime, juiced. 2 cups cooked sushi rice. 4 sheets nori seaweed. Soy sauce and wasabi for serving.
Instructions: Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C. To make the sauce, put lime juice, minced garlic, black pepper, olive oil, and pepper in a small bowl. Cod fillets should be put on a baking sheet that has parchment paper on it. Use the chili-lime mixture that you made to brush the cod fillets. For 12 to 15 minutes, or until cooked all the way through and flaky, roast the cod in a hot oven. After cooking, take the cod out of the oven and let it cool down a bit. On a bamboo sushi mat, put a piece of nori. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, making sure to leave a border at the top. The roasted cod should be cut into thin strips and laid across the middle of the rice. Use the bamboo mat to roll the sushi up tightly, and then press gently to seal. Do it again with the rest of the cod fillets, nori, and rice. Use a sharp knife to cut the sushi rolls into small pieces that are easy to eat. Soy sauce and wasabi should be used to serve the roasted chili-lime cod sushi. Have fun!
