livejournal is pretty dead and dreamwidth vk has kinda gone on a hiatus so I have one question guys

Do ya'll wanna make a Visual Kei Fanfiction Community here in tumblr? With of course an added discord group if we all would like!

I think it'd be nice to revive the community in some way, it'll be hard since VK is going more and more underground with less content but I think we can make it work! I'm not sure if we're big enough to make side blogs like secret santas and such, but this will be a start!

A playlist dedicated to the CHAD BL game protagonist, Gian my beloved ❤️

I'm really happy with the playlists I made for the CR:5, it's very influenced by personal taste but aren't all playlists like that xD Hopefully I can introduce you to cool music!

For Gian, I wanted to capture his nature of being very carefree yet dastardly shrewd when push comes to shove. Gian is extremely intelligent as an individual and knows how to analyze situations logically, but I love how that in a way how he approaches life this way represents a certain fear and mistrust of people, as he is a practical person who prioritizes himself. But in all routes as he gets to know the other capos more and what it means to be a boss, a leader, he starts to trust the other capos, his gut instincts and heart more, instead of coolly analyzing the situation, which I feel represents how he's changed over the course of the story. Lucky Dog 1 is extremely well-written and despite BL/yaoi being a dealbreaker for some, I feel that the worldbuilding and character relationships are very well-detailed and fleshed out, that I'd still wholeheartedly recommend it as something worth your time.

1. CR Devil May Cry 4 OST - Once Chance Roll

Capcom has a knack for wasting fire songs on pachinko games xD Similar to the title, I picture this song as something that plays during the high-stakes escape from prison scene in Lucky Dog or whenever Gian has to 'try his luck', it gives that feeling of being very devil-may-care(ha).

2. コドモドラゴン(Codomo Dragon) - RIGHT EVIL

I very much like Codomo Dragon's sound, and this song is such a bop. The bass and drums make the song's rhythm incredibly catchy, Hayato's vocals can sound sweet but absolutely fucks when screaming and growling. I feel it can describe Gian with how he can be very charming and sly if needed.

3. Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas - Return to Zero

You may know Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas as the guys who did ED1 of the 2011 Hunter x Hunter anime. They have a very unique sound that blends metalcore and electronicore, they're extremely fun to listen to and give me a good kick when I'm sleepy, despite that I totally forgot to include them in my EDM playlist. xD

4. THE ORAL CIGARETTES - 狂乱(Kyouran) Hey Kids!!

The opening to the anime Noragami Aragoto. Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this.

5. ALEXANDROS - アルペジオ (Arpeggio)

The opening to RGG Studio's game Judgment, I actually didn't like it at first but it grew on me. It's very uplifting and makes me feel I can take on the world like Gian. This verse especially is just awesome:

We're going up and down, you know We're going up and down, you know Say no to the world, say no to the world

And this person said it best how I feel about this song:

6. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven OST - Mode Select Theme

Composed by Chikayo Fukuda. This is so jazzy. It's perfection.

This is Gian and the rest of the gang regrouping back at the Daivan hotel, it's 2 AM, everyone's tired and horny but they have to plan their next strategy against the GD.

7. Yakuza 0 OST - Try to have some fun for me!!

Composed by Saori Yoshida and Mayumi Koizumi, the incredibly catchy background music to the Cabarat Czar minigame in Yakuza 0. It makes me want to run a cabaret club, earn billions of yen, protect my girls, fall in love with the handsome manager, sing 24-hour Cinderella, beat the shit out of goons, forget about Makoto-chan in the warehouse, and yell KIRYU-CHAN! at the top of my lungs.

This is heaven.

8. LOVEBITES - Don't Bite The Dust

This song gives such a 'I can 1v1 the world' feeling. I'm sad that Miho no longer plays with LOVEBITES but this is the song along with Rising that got me into them. They're extremely talented musicians and I'm all for all-girl bands getting more recognition, especially when they're as talented as these ladies.

9. STEAL! OST - TRUE EYES by C.G. mix

Disclaimer: I have never played anything by Spray (oh the unfortunate (fortunate?) implications of this name...) but this opening and Under the Darkness from Kichiku Megane I have on constant repeat on my playlist, and in my opinion make for very fun karaoke songs. xD They don't have to go hard (sorry) for BL game music but I love that they did anyway.

10. Lucky Dog 1 OST - Don't Lose Luck

I've already included this song in another playlist, but it's so damn catchy that I can't help but include it again in this one. They did such a good job with the opening theme that captures the spirit of Lucky Dog 1 and it's definitely one of my favorites along with AI Catch from DMMD.
