Candy is my favorite Cody ship.

Because what do you mean Randy was the toxic, volatile and abusive mentor who couldn’t let Cody grow or go during that entire first run, even much after Legacy’s breakup. Then, six years later, Cody comes back a completely rebuilt version of himself… and Randy’s different too?

They’re not bitter. They’re not circling each other with old resentment. They’re better, they’re healthier. They speak about each other with open admiration, respect, pride and love.

And now they’re main-eventing WrestleMania together. For the title Cody used to dream about, the very same one he spent a good year and a half helping Randy win over and over.

There’s something so poetic about this duo meeting on the grandest stage of them all as equals this time around.

They really do embody the bonded for life and second chance tropes in the most beautiful way. The fanfic writes itself, really.😭😭😭
