In another reality, change of plans occur for the Grand Scheme of Dr. Edward Richtofen's puppeteering. The dark lord offers to his apprentice a great power beyond his comprehension. Yet, that power would come at a price. The doctor, now with the blood of his lord's brethren coursing through his veins, finds himself in a battle of pride against regret. None of his "unconventional allies" can save him from simmering corruption.
