Just curious, what do you think is the most positive trait Dempsey has? Or at least the most tolerable?

Hello my wonderful Dempsey in Arms!

I think it's really hard to narrow it down to one. But maybe I'm a little biased to him lmao.

I have always appreciated his moral compass. He knows what needs to be done and he'll carry that out no matter the cost. I also love this trait because it just makes Tank more human at the end of the day. I have to agree with Steve when he said giving the man 30% more brain cells and some personality he becomes a more human an interesting character. It's something that can be his most positive trait while also being a huge flaw. Because we see in Der Eisendrache the price of following orders like the good soldier he is.

His incessant need to be a flirt is tolerable. It can be really comical sometimes. Most times I'm like boy you really just have to get that shit out of your system or you'll perrish huh?

And I absolutely agree with the second to last part there. I feel that his time (with all variations that we've seen) in the military has a big part of said moral compass, and while it has some positives regarding loyalty and spirit, definitely has its consequences (since military culture and standards itself is uhhh not that great!!!!!!).

Please let me know if I'm misinterpreting or missing the point with that part, though. This is just what I picked up on for a while now.

Just letting people know that I'm not dropping Cod Zombies! As you've seen from my blog though, I've been kind of focusing on other sorts of media/content as well as working on a few creative projects here and there that isn't related to the game, and I might post/reblog about the game a little less often, at least for now. Just trying to branch out on other interests I have. I am also working on an analysis for Dempsey. I was unreasonably rushing for it to be finished as soon as possible, which honestly burned me out mentally..... Should not have done that, but I'm still working on it. I just need to take my time. ty for understanding ^^

It's painful sometimes being one of the few people out there that I think genuinely understands Tank as a character past the "he's the hero" archetype. Why is it you guys can look at everyone else under the microscope and see the full spectrum of their character but Tank gets to just be Tank? Don't you people get bored of that? Or we are just projecting our main character fantasies on the man?

I feel like even Treyarch does (almost) the exact same thing, and not do much with him at all. It's irritating.
