Talia was tired. Tired of the Four Horsemen, of thinking about her mother, tired of her job, tired of her life constantly being put at risk, all of it. Ever since Death had nearly killed her, her right arm had been left at least four shades too pale and practically lifeless looking, with a visible bruise from Death's hand still clearly visible. Thankfully she had plenty of long sleeves to cover most of it up, but she knew she needed to figure out something to help soon. She'd never had a bruise stay on her body like this before, so to see it was a little shocking to say the least. Surprisingly, Lydia nearly killing her with her scream hadn't even been the thing she was even focused on. After that night all of the damage from the scream had at least healed, but her stupid arm was still left tainted by Death. She could still move it, but it felt like her fingers were moving in slow motion, and the whole thing was terrifying. She was never one to let fear get to her that much, but ever since that encounter with Death she'd had constant night terrors about that night, the dread washing over her as soon as he grabbed onto her and as soon as she realized that there was a chance she would die right then and there. The werewolf didn't often worry about things like death until she was face to face with it, or in this case face to face with Death himself.
While she had been sleeping, her night terrors were just making her have restless sleep ever night so she found herself exhausted as she sat and tried to look down at her homework to study for the next chapter of history, but she just wasn't able to focus. She wanted to do well, Stiles helping her study inspired her to actually do well, but she just couldn't right now. Every time she started to take a step forwards she seemed to get thrown back ten more. Her hand was shaking as she tried to start writing some more of her chapter outline when she felt someone else's presence, and she looked up at them through the bags under her eyes as she raised her eyebrows. “Can I help you or something? Your staring is freaking me out.”
