No, that’s not it,” she continued, as she searched for the words to make up for not remembering her friend’s birthday. “I’m a total bitch?” she suggested a little too loudly, shooting a raised eyebrow at the random woman beside her who shot her a dirty look. “Oh, like you’ve never thought that before?” she asked sarcastically, before rolling her eyes and marching off to a corner booth to wait for Shay.
