not to be dramatic but the rwrb stratosphere is saving my absolute life. having such a tricky time with work but knowing i can come home and reread or rewatch or fall into well crafted au’s or extensions via the fic world is really what keeps me going❤️

you know you’re truly stuck on your dinluke au when you return to deniigiq and coffeecatsme ‘s dinluke fics... those just are such deep comfort classics ! you are in love by coffeecatsme just makes me feel like love is real and entirely possible when I just want to give up on my fic bc I haven’t been feeling romantic lately ! deniigiq makes you laugh but also writes very real in a blunt but beautifully and eloquently simple way! 

I get haunted by the words; 

“Word soup,” [Din] reminded Luke. “Hard to wade through. By the time I’ve finally got the words, everyone else has moved on.”

Luke’s ire softened somewhat.

“So you’re saying that you’re too smart for your own good,” he said. 

No one had ever said it like that. It sort of dropped a stone in Din’s calm waters.“Bad at—” he started.

“No,” Luke said. “Too smart. Too many layers to dig through to get to topsoil.”

“Too slow,” Din corrected him.

“No.”

fucking constantly !! the quote won’t ever leave me alone because of how ridiculously deep this simple bit hits really deep for no reason at all!!! 

and coffeecatsme just blows me away with how I can just feel how clearly in awe of each other Din and Luke are in their twitch streamer au and it makes me ache all over but grin so fucking hard every time bc it’s so cute and so intimate and domestic and we all know it’s not likely to happen irl bc irl lets us down always but my god is it so achingly amazing to just pretend for a minute? 

I just have so much love for these fics in particular just because like. my heart just does the little drippy achey thing that just feels so tender and I have so many feelings about it 😭

I’m bad at those things so I will just try to not overthink it and just list 5 random things about me.

1. Every night before sleeping I make up scenarii in my head, usually about my current obsession. It has been a way to lull myself to sleep since as long as I can remember. It’s always the angsty stuff, sometimes with comfort but not always. Don’t know why, don’t want to know why XD. (Currently all of those are about @ailec-12 ‘s wonderful story “House Potter for Children in Need” for some reason.)

2. I make a really good “cake au citron”.

3. I’ve got a Ph.D. in chemistry but I work in medical research - because I like to be logical like this.

4. I can write backwards by hand without any trouble (If someone ask I can post an example of my “backwards writing” of course, it’s like Leonardo Da Vinci coding, you need a mirror to read it - kinda cool?).

5. My cat is the best cat.
