It had been one of the first times he'd stepped out of the pack territory since his accident, but he felt like he was ready to do so--he'd sharpened some of his senses, and as long as he wasn't trying to bathe or wash dishes he should be fine. His hearing allowed him to catch people walking by, cars coming, the ticking of the crossing light in the city.. it was still quite early, so he doubted it'd be too busy out anyway.

Another pack member had tagged along though, one of the adolescent pups, holding his hand and walking along with him. Being mostly useless with other chores, he'd been put in charge of pup duty, which wasn't too bad, since he was able to transform into his wolf form and be able to see them on and off, play with them, get out some of his pent up energy from not moving around much as a human.

The boy had left him at the coffee shop, meeting with a few friends in the city and hugging him goodbye, he'd be back in this area in a few hours, leaving Kyungsoo to get used to his surroundings. Seating himself at the familiar cafe, one of his old coworkers brought out some coffee and food for him, greeting him excitedly--he was also of his kind, but a rogue, like his mother, so Kyungsoo wasn't too worried. Offering a half-smile, he took the mug and brushed his thumbs over the edges of it, feeling the heat roll off--but it was a couple going by that knocked it out of his hands, making him jump and wince even before the mug shattered at a stranger's feet, the couple looking back to him with a frown but carried on. Shitheads.

"I'm sorry," he mumbled, gripping the metal table before leaning down to press his hand over the shattered porcelain, managing to not wound himself as he picked up a bigger piece.
