Clear umbrella overhead, boots dancing here and there over the wet pavement, he made his way down the street while trapped in his own little world. The rain didn't bother him, especially since he had his umbrella that he'd pulled out of his pocket not too long ago. It was nice to be out in the weather, and not cooped up in some building where he'd never see the sky. It was better to have fresh air and a soaked through body than be locked away without any possibility of seeing the outside world.
The splashes from the puddles he stepped never reached his trousers, instead smacking into the leather of his boots and dribbling down, wishing to settle on the floor once more. But that didn't stop the man from dancing his way along the pavement, singing quietly to himself. He had been called out to by a few passersby, telling him that he was behaving like an idiot and that he should go inside, he had merely replied with more questions, either irritating them enough for them to leave or making them come to the conclusion he was more of an idiot than they thought.
Neither were his intentions, however.
He couldn't help himself if he liked the rain. He couldn't help himself if this was what made him happy, either. He didn't understand why some people would judge someone else with what made them happy. Surely, dancing and singing in the rain wasn't frowned upon. He hadn't seen anyone get taken away for doing such a thing, or punished. And because of that, he had automatically assumed it was all right if he did so. Apparently not, according to some people.
Lifting his gaze from the floor, he found someone walking alone without an umbrella, getting quite soaked from the rain. The fact that they weren't moving very fast either didn't help their case. If they kept it up, the rain and the wind were going to soak them through before they had the chance to get out of it. And Clear -- being the ever-loving, kind robot he was -- called out to them.
"Eh!? Chotto! Cho-tto!" And without warning, he ran after them, waving his umbrella around like a madman.
