Hello everyone!!

It’s been some time... I must admit 2020 has not been the one. But nonetheless we have survived, and now we will prevail!

Moving on from my dramatics, I wanted to share with everyone what I’ve been up to over the past year. Although the pandemic has killed a lot of my plans, I found that it also brought back some small joys. I got back into writing! I took part in nanowrimo and finished my first novel in 30 days! I’ve started reading again with a passion that had burned out because I never had time to just sit and enjoy what I was reading. It became a rush to just finish because I was always running around. I’ve been on so many walks and found pleasure in solitude. A friend from school and I also worked on her photography project and I learned to start loving my body, which is something I’ve struggled with for years. There’s been so many opportunities and time for me to learn and educate myself on social issues in a depth that I perhaps wouldn’t have found myself having the time for before. For that, I am most grateful because being aware of an issue is one thing. Being aware of the history and the full extent of its impact is another. But there have also been so many times where I felt down to the point of despair. So like I’ve said, it’s been a long year, but we survived it. We might have lost friends and family along the way, but they won’t be forgotten.

I won’t drone on anymore. I just wanted to wish you all a wonderful year that’s up ahead. May we all work harder and thrive in whatever it is that our hearts desire to pursue. May we stay educated and support one another. Here’s to the next chapter🥂
