I hope not! I think the best ending for asgore is to move on from toriel and value all the memories he has in the pacifist run. Toriel is not going to make him happy, seeing how not only did she run away from her duties, she also hid herself from the people she abandoned. Asgore deserves a new leaf, and I know that he loves her dearly and all- but how can it ever be the same after it all?
Ooh, that’s a really good point - made even stronger by my recent play through of Undertale and Delta Rune! We can really see how unforgiving Toriel is towards Asgore which really makes me agree with this. Being in a marriage or relationship with someone who won’t forgive you no matter what (floral scented trash can I’m looking at you), is one of the most toxic things one can do. Add to that the reasons you mentioned, (her pulling a psudo-yoda to live in isolation and leaving him with all the responsibilities of the kingdom) and yeah, I can def see how things would NOT work
