Sole survivor Just the one last night from Chesil beach. It went 1lb 4oz, not great for 5 hours fishing and being the only bite! A beautiful evening though.

We fished Cogden today in the hope of an early spring plaice. Conditions were calm but water clarity was slightly coloured in close so not quite 100% perfect plaice conditions. Colin managed to catch two very small plaice at distance, I could only manage the usual dogfish, pouting, whiting and rockling critters.
Conditions for round two are looking spot this coming Sunday.
