Coin Dozer Vs Cookie Dozer
Coin pusher or coin drop machines are favorites on arcades and fairs. If you are one of the many people who grew up playing this game, you can now experience the same fun, without actually using real coins (so if you’re addicted to it, you don’t have to worry about putting a hole in your pocket).
Game Circus is one of the developers that brought this arcade type of game on mobile platforms. Coin Dozer and Cookie Dozer are two of their most popular applications. Let’s compare the two apps and see which is better between these two.
Coin Dozer vs Cookie Dozer
How the Game is Played
Since the two games were derived from the same arcade game, their basic gameplay is the same. The main difference is that instead of dropping coins, you will be dropping cookies in Cookie Dozer. You are given 40 coins or cookies to start with. Tap on the platform to drop them. You can drop up to four coins/ cookies at the same time. This will push the coins/cookies on the platform and make them fall on the slot so you can collect them. However, some of them would fall on the side.
There are also prizes or treats that appear on the platform together with the coins. In Coin Dozer, they are different kinds of toys such as fish, cars, bears and sunglasses. They come in four different colors. Collecting all four colors in one set will give you a star that would give you better bonus. In Cookie Dozer, different pastries can be collected including pies, cupcakes and cheesecakes that come in six different flavors.
Collecting all six in one set will give you one star, which will also give you better bonus. You can upgrade these bonuses to 6 stars. Coins and cookies regenerate every 30 seconds. Coin Dozer has a shake meter, which when filled can be used to shake the machine to drop more coins and prizes on the slot. It also comes with puzzles to complete. These two are not available in Cookie Dozer. In-app purchase of cookies and coins are also available.
Platforms
Both applications support iOS and Android device. However, Coin Dozer supports more platforms as it can also be played on Facebook and Windows 10. As of this writing, Cookie Dozer does have a Facebook or PC version.
Graphics and Interface
Both games have intuitive user interface. The options would tell you immediately what they are for. For instance, the number on the upper left side is the available coins or cookies you have and the number on top with an XP meter is your current level. But when it comes to graphics, Cookie Dozer is way better than Coin Dozer. The coins, machine and prizes on Coin Dozer are more like for kids. Cookie Dozer has an eye-catching graphics. The cookies, cakes and other treats look real (and yummy). The machine is also made up of cake and frostings, making it more pleasing to the eyes.
Music and Sound
Coin Dozer and Cookie Dozer do not have background music but you will hear a sound when a coin or cookie drops, as well as when one is regenerated. So when it comes to the sound area, both are on the same page.
The Winner
Coin Dozer has more options as it comes with a shake meter and puzzles. But when it comes to graphics Cookie Dozer is way better. The puzzles are unlocked when you upgrade your bonuses but they do not really add to the challenge of the game. Dropping coins can get boring after sometime. While it’s the same with dropping cookies, the cookies and treats on the platform would make you forget that you are just doing the same thing over and over. So for me, Cookie Dozer is the winner.
