PDD READS: Good evening citizens. We hope everyone is taking care and looking out for one another during these trying days. We would also like to extend our further condolences to those in mourning, and our appreciation to everyone for your patience with regards to Mr. Bahr’s memorial.
A burial service has now been scheduled for 10:00am tomorrow morning (Monday the 10th), to take place at Colony 22′s Natural Memorial. A wake at the Chapel will follow. Our sincerest gratitude to Delma Head of House, Cambie Andrews, for taking on the responsibility of making these arrangements. Your generosity and compassion are an invaluable asset to this colony.
PDD READS: Good morning citizens of Colony 22. We are very pleased to announce that thanks to your hard work and commitment, the construction for the Greenhouse Participation Project is now complete. Starting April 1st, 2163, the construction chore rotation will roll over into daily agricultural care, supervised and facilitated by Calyset’s Anaya Dolmen.
As a reward for the collective effort of the community and as a gesture of gratitude, all scheduled classes, training and testing will be cancelled from Friday, April 1st, through Sunday, April 3rd. Citizens will also be alleviated of their weekly chore duties for those three days ONLY with the exception of Meal Prep and Dishes, as the Kitchens must remain functional even over long weekends.
To fairly accommodate these individuals, any citizen rotated in the kitchens during the week of March 27th through April 3rd, will receive one complimentary small item credit each day (Friday through Sunday only) which can be exchanged at Catch 22 for a beverage of their choice, or at the Distribution Center for an item of a value of 8 credits or less.
Again, Colony 22 would like to formally thank all of its citizens for their dedication to the positive growth and development of this community. The completion of the greenhouse construction is an achievement you should all be proud of, and we look forward to what the future of the Greenhouse Participation Project has in store.
Thank you,
—Colony Officials
Admin Note:
Hey team!! So just a few notes on this update!
—As of this post, the timeline will be officially moving forward to roughly the 5th week of March, which is March 27th to April 3rd! You will notice there are a few days overlap from the last timeline update since the last one was only a partial slide forward.
—You may also notice that the date of this post is the morning of the 29th, and the listed date for the rollover to agricultural care is the 1st of April. This means that anyone on the Greenhouse rotation this week, will spend the 29th and 30th assisting with preparatory work, like working with the Marine Merchants to load fertilizer and seed deliveries from docks up to the Greenhouse, doing finishing touches on plant beds, testing the watering system, installing any necessary lattices, etc.
—Anaya will be responsible for overseeing all work that is done in the greenhouse, all based on the plans and information sent to the Colony by the GPP and some of her own research and work. For the first few weeks, her schedule will be adapted to allow for her to be in attendance with every daily greenhouse rotation (once or twice a day, roughly 1-3 hrs each time depending on work being done), but eventually in the coming weeks, her physical attendance will vary depending on other commitments. If she is not at the Greenhouse during the rotation slots, all participating citizens will have clear instructions on duties for the day and she will be checking in on progress in her own time.
—If there are any questions at all regarding the long weekend details or about anything to do with this mini plot drop, don’t be afraid to reach out! We’re here to help, and as always, if you have any thoughts or ideas, don’t be shy!
Lastly, the new chore rotation list for the current week will be released shortly!
Daily chores are allocated at the beginning of each week and infected survivors are then responsible for those duties for the duration of seven days. Citizens are to scan their PDDs under the Calcards in their house common rooms every Monday morning to receive their new rotation. Rotations are randomized, but citizens will cycle through all 6 in a random order, before starting over; the only way someone might get the same chore two weeks in a row, is if they happen to be appointed the same chore in week 6 of one cycle, and week 1 of the next.
PDD reads: {Good morning citizens, thank you for logging in. As you know, Colony 22 operates on a system of equal opportunity and contribution. As such, your assigned chore for this week is: [ ROTATION HERE ]. This is week 4 of 6 in this cycle.}
